Cradled in the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, Ridgecrest Conference Center hosts events involving up to 2,000+ guests each and provides meeting and event planners of Christian conferences and retreats one-stop shopping and first-class customer service in a Christian environment.

Ridgecrest is hiring for Food Service Front-of-House (FOH) Summer Staff positions to serve our guests and learn about various roles essential to a large-scale food service operation in a Christian environment. 
About our Summer Staff Program:
Ridgecrest's Summer Staff is a dynamic team that desires to see lives impacted for God's glory! Our Summer Staff program is a developmental work opportunity to help you learn about the Christian hospitality industry and gain professional experience. Over the course of the summer (May-August 2020), you will have the opportunity to serve over 10,000 guests from all over the world! 
In addition to your job duties, you will also participate in Summer Staff bible study group, attend weekly chapel services and participate in planned activities. And since on-site dormitory style housing and meals are provided at our dining area, you'll have free time to to enjoy God's creation!


The Food Service Team offers an excellent opportunity to work and learn about the various functions of a large food service operation in a Christian hospitality setting. You develop customer service and organizational skills, and will learn to work well on a diverse team. In this area, you will serve guests on the buffet lines in the dining room and at catered events throughout campus.

  • Must be 18 years old at the start of the program

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Serve full-time hours in assigned work area
  • Serve in other departments as needed to provide support during busy times
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, teachable and mature
  • Mentally, physically, and emotionally able to work long, busy days with hard work
  • Attend required weekly chapel service and bible study
  • Attend all required activities as scheduled
