    LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center (Ridgecrest, N.C.) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Preventative Maintenance Worker. This individual will be responsible for general maintenance support for buildings across Ridgecrest Conference Center and providing day-to-day facility support for customers and guests.. This is a full-time salary position with benefits.


    • Performs minor repairs to building structures, components, and equipment
    • Performs preventative maintenance
    • Provides first response to all facility maintenance issues

    Note – Other job duties as assigned.


    Required Skills:

    • Customer relations skills - Intermediate 
    • Ability to collaborate and interact with employees at a technical and non-technical level
    • Knowledge in areas involving electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, mechanics
    • Must work well in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and clients


    Required Experience:

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • 1-2 years general maintenance experience required
    • Must have a valid North Carolina Driver's License with good driving record. Able to work outdoors in variable climates. Must have ability to lift 70 lbs; repetitively lift up to 50 lbs with a range from a floor level to above shoulder height walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours; free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, including climbing on step ladders. Must possess ability to use hand and power tools, normal vision, hearing and sense of smell.
