LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center (Ridgecrest, N.C.) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Front Desk Clerk. This is a full time position.  Person must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekend.  


  • Registers guest including providing room keys, meal tickets, maps, cots or cribs, and other general information
  • Adjusts room assignments
  • Performs guest billing functions including verifying charges, adjusting discrepancies, and collecting and posting payment
  • Controls room availability
  • Processes all payments and fund transactions
  • Consults with guest to resolve any issues
  • Performs conferences preparation functions
  • Processes guest check-out and billing information


  • High school diploma with public relations and business emphasis, or two years of college and technical school

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities

  • Mathematical skills - Intermediate
  • Computer skills - Intermediate
  • Customer relations skills - Intermediate 
  • Written and verbal communication - Intermediate
  • Telephone skills - Intermediate
